Man fakes own death and hides in TV impersonating programmes for 15 years
The family of Barry Fisher had often wondered why the actors on the TV programmes often looked the same, and why there was only one person in each scene. ‘We often wondered why the actors on the TV programmes often looked the same, and why there was only one person in each scene,’ his family said in unison.
In fact it was partly to escape his infuriating wife and kids, that Barry Fisher faked his own death back in 1993. But with nowhere to go, and still wanting to see his children grow up, Barry hid inside the family television set where he performed their favourite programmes to his unsuspecting (and it has to be said, rather stupid) family for the following decade and a half.
