In the all-important 2nd Riot of the Ashes series the Hoodies have won the toss and have chosen to loot first.
On what’s looking to be green, fresh conditions the Hoodies are expected to open with last years highly successful and in-form Tottenham pairing of Stone-throwers and Police Car Fire-bombers.
Burning Down The Police Station will anchor the rioting at number three then the middle order will look to come in and consolidate the carnage with general mayhem and lawlessness.
The tail end will then hopefully add some valuable spontaneous looting towards the end.
A disappointed Police Captain Ian Duncan Smith said it was a bad toss to lose. ‘We would’ve liked to have gone in first to be honest,’ he said. ‘We were going to open with a new but potentially very exciting combination of Attack Dogs and Rubber Bullets followed by the ever reliable Baton Charge. And our strong tail of Court Appearances and Excessive Sentencing performed very well last year.’
Last year the Hoodies dominated most days of the 1st Riot and looted beautifully throughout. They found the gaps on countless occasions and their running between the JD Sports outlets was excellent.
The Police were bitterly disappointed at last years defeat. ‘We leaked a lot of easy HDTVs early on, and some of our guys were caught out by the Hoodies sheer aggression. But that’s the way the Hoodies riot – hard but fair.’
Police in Croyden were also seeking a better performance after last year’s golden duck. A repeat performance could see them dropped for the more aggressive Army.
