Barry George who spent eight years behind bars after being wrongly convicted of the murder of Jill Dando, has lost his High Court bid for compensation on the grounds he 'didn't murder her enough'.
Two judges ruled that although Mr George had not killed Dando, he had not satisfied the legal test of convincing two moronic members of the judiciary that the fact of his not murdering her was sufficient to warrant a payout.
'It would be better if Mr George had not murdered Miss Dando at least twice,' Lord Justice Beatson said, who also ruled that 'as Mr George is a bit weird, he deserved eight years behind bars'.
The High Court is soon to rule whether the Innocents of the Slaughter of the Innocents (Matthew 2: 13-23) were innocent enough.
