			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">A statue commemorating the thousands of British men and women who have fallen during drunken fights outside pubs and nightclubs was unveiled today, at a moving ceremony on London&#8217;s South Bank. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">Hundreds of veterans from campaigns as diverse as the Hammersmith Palais punch-up of 1957 to last summer&#8217;s scuffle outside the Babylon Club, Aiya Napa, watched as footballing legend Steven Gerrard pulled aside the cloth to reveal the new sculpture. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: 'Arial','sans-serif';">&#8216;Scrapping&#8217;, as the statue has been called, depicts two faceless masculine figures, one held in a headlock by the other, with a smaller, more feminine figure attempting to break them up, and bears the legend &#8216;leave it Barry, he&#8217;s not worth it.&#8217;</span></p>
