Beatles videogame error rewrites songs
A programming error in the Beatles: Rock Band, the videogame which enables gamers to play along with the music of their heroes, has resulted in changes to millions of music CDs — fans shelling out GBP9.99 for a newly released re-master of Rubber Soul will in fact be listening not to Paul McCartney and John Lennon’s voices but the out-of-tune shoutings of Roy Christie and Steve Forbes, two middle-aged gaming enthusiasts from Norwich.
