Travelodge manager sacked in Royal wedding venue bribery scandal

Amid mounting speculation over the venue for next year’s Royal wedding, the manager of a north London Travelodge has been sacked after offering ‘unreasonable inducements’ such as a bottle of house white to tempt the Royal couple to hold the ceremony there rather than at Westminster Abbey or St Paul’s.
