A monument of the future

In a time yet to come, we can eventually expect to see a tombstone engraved 'Here lies Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson'

Followed by another inscription 'I am not dead'

Followed by a further inscription 'Or if I am dead, it's only in limited and specific ways'

And when the individual in question arrives at the pearly gates and is refused admission on the grounds that he had denied being dead, claiming that he had not knowingly been attempting to deceive anyone about his deadness, and had been advised that it was acceptable for him to claim that he was not dead, even though, strictly speaking, in a purely technical sense and being pedantic, he actually might have been categorised as dead.

[No parrots (alive or dead - well, at least, no dead ones) were harmed in the composition of this post.]
