Greece votes to change billing address

Adopting a national policy of ‘the cheque being in the post’, Greece will now ignore all letters with red font. A European Central Bank (ECB) spokesperson released a statement claiming that: ‘Greece appears to have moved house but left no forwarding address. We discovered several million utility bills stuffed in their recycling box, and some mouldy feta cheese’.

The reply they got was: ‘You have the wrong number. No speekee German. Our accountant happens to be on holiday and our dog ate the invoice. Anyway, we’re in the process of changing banks’.
