Proving that God has no ear for music but has a firm grasp of irony, George Martin has passed away at the age of 90. Yet as the world mourns the death of the man known as ‘the fifth Beatle’, civilization fears the continued existence of ‘the fifth Horseman of the Apocalypse’ - aka Kanye West.
Many may say nine decades is a long life for a music producer, they would also agree that 38 is far too long for someone who butchered ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. So, with each passing ‘Beatle’ we are reminded of our own mortality and the fact we are stuck with Mr. West. Although it was fair to suggest that Mr. Martin’s best years were behind him, Mr West never had any to begin with.
Let us not forget that Mr. Martin, a very private man, gave us his masterful melodies but little of home life; while Mr. West gave us ‘Drunk & Hot Girls’ and whether he likes a finger up his butt.
