Germany photographs 'plus-size' economy, instead of skinny model

A German feminist defended the image: 'Yes, we look a little on the chubby size. But we’re the world’s fifth largest consumer of energy, so we’re bound to be retaining a little water. And with our developed infrastructure we’ve always been big-boned.

'No one wants to see a financially anorexic economy. Even the UK has a little muffin top and a great pair of boobs, in the form of Cameron and Clegg.'
