Imaginary friend distances himself from Johnson

The prime-minister, Boris Johnson, has experienced another setback as Bunbury, his imaginary friend from childhood, has indicated that he thinks Johnson should resign.

"Well, although we haven't spoken for many years, I must say I expected a bit more support from Bunbury.", said a frustrated looking Mr Johnson. "When I think back to all the times together where he'd be my servant, or I'd break the odd vase and blame it on him, or use a driving license I'd had made up in his name to get out of certain scrapes, I feel deserve something in return."

Bunbury was unavailable for comment.
