This.....
This is why Covid has been allowed to dominate our lives
Because the Brexit fallout was always going to be a massive disaster for Boris Inc
He needed a distraction to hide behind.
The Tories had to protect the NHS....because they had run it into the ground, 10 years of austerity would have exposed the extent of their neglect.
It wasn't to protect the NHS, it was to protect the Tories.
They have borrowed £335bn.....they have been able to say it was needed to keep the economy afloat during lockdown. But how much was to protect us from the horrors of Brexit.
I think we are about to find out.

Well, that was predicted too. I'm surprised there's not more, frankly, and I don't see an end to it while NI has been partially severed from the UK. I'm sure the nationalists will join in the fun at some point

Its taken 3 months.
From "Boris Johnson's great deal"...
...to "the EUs Brexit deal".

If only we had seen it as the
EU's Brexit deal
from the start, we would have been less keen to beat ourselves up. They decided to punish us for leaving, quite immorally and shamefully. As it was, rather cleverly, they got us to beat ourselves up as well. And each other. Some of us have been so played.Posted 1 day ago # -
"They" are not punishing anyone. "They" are just getting on with business as usual, but without us, and "they" have no obligation to give us any favours
It's always easier to blame someone else than accept the mistake was at home
A trade border within the UK, giving republicans what they want. What were our politicians thinking?

You appear to be delusional - the UK, in the first time on modern history, has succeeded in negotiating a worse set of terms with the largest trading bloc of nations in the world - proud of supporting that, are you?
Some of us have been so played.
Yes you were - by the "Leave" campaign. Why isn't Farage in Northern Island explaining the multiple benefits of not being able to import or export anything? Why isn't he in Cornwall explaining the glorious sunny uplands to thousands of fishermen losing their jobs? Why isn't he holding back the wave of UK businesses relocating to the EU. Is it because he is a con-man who has been found out? You fell for it, you own it.

the wave of UK businesses relocating to the EU
Erm, so that didn't happen inside the EU? No, no business would possibly see the advantages of convenient transport links to the main markets and suppliers, the economies of scale, the warmer climate, the proximity to the decision-makers. No, we'd rather stay on a damp offshore island and compete with one hand tied.
Come on bright-eyed graduates and talented youngsters, it's off to the continent for us and a bright future awaits. Bye Grandma!
Oh, and if there is a way or two that could mean an advantage for that offshore island, well, its against the regs but we'll get round to flexing them, soon. Ish.
