Wracked by civil disorder, France has seen street artists take to the streets - but without human statues, who no one likes. Leading the fight were mime artists, using sad white faces and a fake flowers for squirting petrol bombs.
Dishing out the silent treatment, hordes of Mimes were inked by one very long invisable rope. They made their demands known through a series of elaborate hand gestures.
The Mimes were unintimidated by the threat of prison, knowing they could break out of any imaginary box. Asked to comment, one mime said: '!'
