Bucking recent trends, a right-wing populist politician lost an election for a second term but then didn't react like a toddler denied a second Peppa Pig episode.
The now ex-demagogue said 'I was a populist but now I'm a populost. It wasn't because there was massive fraud or dead people voting, even though that's what I said. I told so many lies but I didn't quite get enough votes from my knuckle dragging supporters to win.
Maybe they were too thick to vote correctly. I won't concede but shortly I'll go back to my highly paid newspaper and TV gigs, telling ordinary people that climate change and Covid are hoaxes and immigrants are to blame for... well... for whatever you like really.'
