Italian expat 'no longer homesick'

An Italian expat who has lived in London for the last forty years has claimed that for the first time in all those years, he is no longer homesick.

Said Luigi Rossi, 67, ‘Up until recently there had never been a day when I didn’t miss Italia, but things have changed. It started to feel a bit better a few years ago when you had to switch on the TV or radio to find out who was Prime Minister, but there was still something missing. Now, with people melting in the streets as the mercury hits 40 degrees, at last I feel at home. I can even support England in the world cup with Italia failing to qualify again.
