Expert raises alarm but Government says it’s all fine

An expert has raised the alarm over something or other serious but a Government spokesperson told NewsBiscuit ‘We have spent £25 billion over this Parliament to address the challenges raised in this report so everything’s fine’.
Other experts have also raised concerns about other serious matters, but fortunately these are also covered by large sums of money.
NewsBiscuit can’t be bothered finding out whether £25 billion is the right amount of money, or even if it exists. It’s too hot. The polite thing to do is thank the spokesperson and report that everything is now fine and we don’t need to worry about the Navy relying on a couple of canoes, schools falling down or hospitals asking patients to share beds.
