Analysts puzzling over recent news stories have said that there were fewer calamities on Sunday because of the clocks going forward.
"It makes sense when you think about it.", said Professor Brian Nerdygeek. "A shorter day means less time for disasters to occur and thinking back to October last year when we had a 25 hour Sunday because of the clocks going back, that was an absolute doozy."
Professor Nerdygeek's report is believed to be the catalyst behind Chris Grayling's plan to reduce every day to 23 hours "so that it's always summer".
